‘A beach holiday with all the perks of a city break’

Visiting Dubai for its beaches has become increasingly popular over the past decade, and as a result, the city itself has seen exponential growth. It’s a modern metropolis, with a hot climate, pristine beaches and superb accommodation options. Perhaps its biggest selling point is the access to the city it provides, as Dubai is a beach holiday with all the perks of a city break

Where warm waters of the Arabian Gulf meet Dubai’s soft white sands along the coastline, there are so many fantastic spots to relax and unwind in the sunshine.

Many of the best spots are private, linked with luxury hotels on the beachfront. But this should be seen as a positive, with so many incredibly hotels to choose from, if you stay at a hotel with beach access you are certain to gain access to a well-maintained beach space with plenty of amenities.

Popular beaches include Jumeirah Beach and Kite Beach, though you can’t go wrong with any of them. Most feature a stunning city skyline backdrop and plenty of options to eat and drink in the sunshine.

Beyond relaxing on one of Dubai’s beaches, there are plenty of attractions to add to your holiday right on the doorstep of your hotel. The access to sand dunes make camel riding, 4×4 dune bashing and quad biking possible.

There are also water parks like the Atlantis Aquaventure that are family friendly and perfect when the temperature is high. Taking in a panoramic view of the entire city is also easy, with a visit to the Burj Khalifa – the world’s tallest building. Shoppers are well catered for in Dubai too, with the Dubai Mall the highlight.
